Having your pet microchipped can save his/her life! Microchips are permanent forms of identification that are implanted under your pet's skin via injection. The microchips contain a number that is read by a scanner. That number is assigned to your pet via registration, and allows the person scanning them to access your contact information via the registry database. Microchips have been responsible for more reunions between pets and their owners than any other form of identification.
