Annual Wellness Checkups
Twice a year, you should take your pet in for a checkup. A comprehensive physical exam will be performed and may include wellness blood screening. Our veterinarian will check the health of your pet from head to tail, and you will be very happy you came to Pet Medical Center of Katy for service.
What To Bring
When you come in for your pet’s appointment, please bring their medical history with you. It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including their normal behavior and any shifts in their mood or actions that you’ve noticed. If you’ve been keeping these records, share them with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. Our veterinarian can still work with whatever information you have.
In some circumstances, a veterinarian will refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or surgery. When this happens, we will inform you of all your pet’s medical options and what you can expect from the specialist. We want you to remain educated, so you can always have peace of mind in knowing that your pet is in good hands.
