Boarding

No matter where you’re going, or where you’re coming from, rest assured that our priority is keeping your furry friend happy, healthy and safe.

Overview

Convenient location, specialized care, and a well-trained, compassionate staff make us the top choice among pet owners. We treat every pet as if they were our very own family pet, and strive to make their stay with us as comfortable and fun-filled as possible. We hope that they will think of our pet boarding facility as a home away from home. We will go the extra mile to ensure that all your pet’s needs are met during their stay with us. You can specify their individual needs for services such as medications, grooming, a bath, or even a medical procedure, and we will make sure it happens. Whether your pet is here for a day of pampering, as an overnight guest, or for a medical procedure, we keep our facility climate-controlled to ensure your pet feels relaxed and comfortable.

Why should I board my pet?

If you are planning to travel overnight for days, weeks, or even a few months, consider boarding your pet during your trip. Your mind will be at peace knowing that your pet is being taken care of in a safe and secure environment.

Boarding Requirements

Vaccinations must be current, and when we make your boarding reservation, we will inform you of any vaccinations that will need to be updated prior to your pet’s arrival. In an effort to keep our hospital grounds free of intestinal parasites, all boarders are required to have a negative fecal analysis within six months of their boarding stay. If a fecal analysis is not current, one will be performed during your pet's stay. De-worming is required with any positive results.

Our canine boarding requirements are:

Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, Bivalent flu, and Negative fecal within 6 months.

Our feline boarding requirements are:

FVRCP, Rabies, and Negative fecal within 6 months.

In an effort to keep the hospital flea-free, all pets receive an oral flea treatment (Capstar) upon arrival for their stay.

During Your Pet’s Stay

Pets are fed twice daily, or as per your preference. We provide high-quality house food (both wet and dry) for your pets, as well as bowls; fresh, comfortable bedding; and daily litter changes for our feline guests. Our canine patients are walked several times a day, with twice daily walks on days that our clinic is not in operation. You are welcome to bring any special diets or creature comforts that you feel may make your pet’s stay more like home. Please indicate any medical needs or specific treatments that your pet will need to receive and provide enough medication for their entire stay.

Catering to Our Elderly, High Energy, or Nervous Boarders

Some pets will need extra walks, may require additional bedding changes during the day, or more frequent staff interaction, including brushing, petting, comforting, hand feeding, or social time during meals.

Our veterinarian is available to the kennel staff at all times for any questions or concerns regarding the boarding pets. Should a medical emergency arise, please provide a phone number where we can reach you.
